Happy Halloween!

Happy halloween!
Got nothing to do yesterday since my class was cancelled so I decided to make some halloween makeup look for fun :p
I personally don't like the overly creepy looks (and I was home alone yesterday so I'd scared myself if I make those) so I opted for this broken doll looks :D

I know it isn't perfect but at least I had fun! XD
Do I look creepy already? :p
What do you do to celebrate halloween this year?
Thanks for reading and I'll see ya later~

Review : ZAP Underarm Treatment

Around 2 or 3 weeks ago, I got a free voucher of ZAP's underarm treatment from ci Winda (who is so nice 'cause she even went directly to my house to give the voucher >_< thankyou!)

I originally wanted to go on 9 Okt since that's the last day of my mid term exam and my college is so close to ZAP outlet at Ciwalk one, but turns out they've already moved to the one at Riau (and I literally bad at directions) so.. mission failed XD I brought Acel along on the next day to be my navigator and after driving around in cycle we finally arrived safe and sound.. lol.

As I walked inside, the staffs greet me warmly and asked me what I want to do there. I told them that I want to use the free treatment voucher and without further ado or putting a frown face (most BA nowadays do that, don't they?) they ask me to sit and wait first.

Spotted acel.. crying?

The waiting room itself is so cozy with a sofa, TV, and magazines provided. Then a staff came and handed me an ipad with a video of ZAP's introduction.

So basically ZAP is a permanent hair removal which started in 2009 and supported by modern technology, certified internationally, they offer a painless, safe, affordable of permanent  hair removal.

I didn't take any photos while doing the treatment 'cause it would feel awkward so here's how the treatment works :

Taken from Zap's website
At I first I thought it would be hurt (and do note I have a very low tolerance of pain.. cut my finger while I was cutting fruits and I'd scream and cry immediately even though there were no blood lol). I kept asking the staffs - yes there were 2 staffs doing a client - if it'll be hurt so much but they said it won't.. and it really doesn't! I can barely feel anything~ they said maybe it's because my hair is thin but.. I can guarantee if I said it doesn't hurt, it must be not hurt, at all ;D

One thing I notice from the whole process is how clean and hygienic they work. Both of the staffs are using a mask, they use a brand new razor for every client, and I guess they change the bed's cover for every client cause they allowed me to use my shoes on the bed.. o_o

The whole treatment process only take around 15 minutes (so fast, huh?) and after that I need to fill some form that I don't even remember now.. hahah.

The staffs also offer some of Zap's product like the underarm brightening treatment, brightening facial wash, and anti acne facial wash, all with affordable price :)

Price for arm and hands but you can see the rest of the price list here
Overall, it was a nice experience to try out ZAP and I could say their service is awesome :) Have you tried their service before? Do you prefer permanent hair removal like this or waxing? I personally choose waxing 'cause it's cheaper and I can do it by myself at home :D

Review : Leaders Pore Clinic 2 Step Kit

It's already 12th of October and here I am writing my first post of the month ._.
Got a lot of assignments (like, really, a lot.) this semester and I'm having a mid term exam this week~

Gotta update this blog more frequently like I used to do so please do stay tune for upcoming posts :D
Anyway, today I want to share my thought about this Leaders Pore Clinic Care which I bought a long long time ago (6 months, I guess?)
It's basically a pore strips to remove your black and whiteheads, plus the pore tightening serum to keep your pores small after using the pore strips.

I do admit that I have a problem with whiteheads :/ Used to use Biore's porepack one but it didn't seem to work well on me so when I saw someone sell this kit, I bought it without thinking much hahaha. I didn't even bother to search a review posts first on google lol.

It claimed to : Absorb excessive sebum, remove blackhead, and something with the pore that I supposed somethings good? XD

And I believe this will suit sensitive-skin people too since it's pigment free, paraben free, and also artificial fragrance free. Well about the fragrance part.. I can guarantee that they're true 'cause the smell is something like some chinese medicine (which smells bad!). It will disappear after a few minutes of usage though~

In a kit, you'll get 10 pcs of pore strips like photo above, and a mini tube of pore tightening serum like photo below.

The serum itself only contains 10ml of product and I find it hard to get the right amount of it like.. Once I squeeze it, nothing came out. Squeeze it harder.. it came out as big as a corn hahaha. The description is all written in Hangul so I can't say much about it~

The texture is quite runny and watery, and it can easily absorb to the skin. I doesn't has any strange (or annoying to be exact) like the pore strips. The thing is, after using it after 9 times usage of the pore strips, I still don't see the effect of this serum. I doesn't make my pores smaller what so ever but I guess I need to use it continuously to see the result?

And here's how the pore strips looks like :

And here's the one I've used ( sorry for the gross pictures >_< )

Another zoom
IMO it removes my whiteheads quite well, it pulls stronger than the biore one for sure. You can see from the pics above that a LOT of my whiteheads are removed ;D

Overall, I think this kit is quite good and useful for people with white or blackheads problem. The pore strips is good but I don't think the pore tightening serum work.. or at least so far. It's quite hard to find here since Leaders don't open any counter yet as far as I know but I think some online shop might sell this ^^

(+) The pore strips remove whiteheads effectively
(+) 1 kit contains 10 pore strips and the 10ml serum which can last for a while

(-) Weird fragrance of the pore strips
(-) Haven't seen any effect from the serum
(-) Quite expensive ( I bought this for $10) compared to others like biore or acnes.

What do you think about this product? Or do you have any recommendation of a good pore strips? (just bought acnes one yesterday since a lot of people say it's quite good and it's dirt cheap hahah XD)
Thanks for reading and have a nice day!

Review : Leaders Baby Soft Foot Peeling Mask

Hi guys~
I know I haven't post here for a long time *bersihin sarang laba-laba*
But today I'll review one of my August haul which is the Leaders Baby Soft Foot Peeling Mask!

It comes with a usual face mask packaging dominated with white and baby blue color :) Nothing special~

There's also a detail about the skin type, volume, ingredients, effects, and how to use that you can read it on photo above.

The back side is dominated by hangul and I'm totally blind so I can't tell you anything about it ._. but there are some pics to show you how to use it which I think understandable :p

Inside, you'll see a weird (?) shape of mask like photo above. To be honest I don't know how to use it at the first look but I found out that you need to cut it in half so you can use it :p

Left and Right sticker are put on the top side of the mask and it's used to seal the foot mask so the liquid doesn't leak out when you're wearing it.

How to Use

The essence itself is enough I think, I can feel that my entire foot is soaked with it but not to the point it will leak out if you move around hahaha. Too bad the sticker isn't so good so sometimes I need to re-attach it again~

It doesn't feel hurt or anything like that at all, unless you have some scars I guess.. You can relax by reading your favorite books or browsing some blogs while waiting 90 minutes to pass~ I suggest you not to move around cause it's hard to walk around using this ._.

As for me.. I was using this foot mask and face mask at the same time, watching TV at my room when suddenly my dad came home and ask me to park the car to the garage. So I literally throw the face mask away and walk with a strange gesture because of this mask (imagine a duck walking lol) and park the car.. Then I realized once I got off from the car that the mask has been teared ._. I guess I only wear it for around 1 hours >_<

(Around 3 days after)

My skin is literally peeled off little by little and you can see that the area that has been peeled is much much softer than the one hasn't! It doesn't hurt at all and I guess this foot mask's formula is more gentle than holika holika's one cause the skin only peeled in a smaller section (the holika holika one can peel quite a large area at once, around the size of my thumbs nail? lol)

Another close up looks :

And here's the final result after all the peeling process finish :

Welcome baby soft skin~ :p
I personally satisfied with the result and I think the concept is quite unique hehe. Been using these kind of mask twice with this and I guess I'll try more in the future ^^ I also recommend it for people with dry and flaky foot, or people who want baby silky foot, just make sure not to use it too often 'cause too much peeling is also not good :D

Have you tried these kind of mask before? What do you think? :D
Thanks for reading and have a nice weekend!

August Haul

Can't really believe it's September already! 2014 sure is walk so fast...
Anyway, today will be a short post of haul that I bought on August :D Most of them are on promotion and the others are one that have been my wishlist for a long long time (I just free myself from the shopping banned that I did since January - new year and birthday's resolution lol)

So this is what I bought last month :

Luxola was having a discount last month so I didn't miss the chance to shop my wishlist items :p I've been wanting to try Maybelline Baby Skin since a long long time ago since there are a lot of good review of it~ Then I also grab Sleek face contour kit 'cause I don't have one yet and Sleek is well-known for it's affordable yet good quality :D The Olay regenerist cleanser in the middle is GWP that I got but I'm not really sure if I can use it yet.. :/ Anybody know if it's safe to use for 19y.o or is it for more 'mature' woman?

Still from Luxola, I also grabbed 2 of Leader's face mask and this time I pick the pore control one 'cause recently I can see my pore get bigger.. o_o I'm using it as I'm typing this and it feels so good and hydrating~
On the middle is Leader's Baby Soft Foot, which is some kind of foot peeling that will make your foot softer like a baby XD I've tried one from Holika Holika before and it does such a nice job so let's see how this one will work.

I also went to Jakarta last month and when I'm derping around in the mall I saw that The Face Shop is having a discount up to 70% so I look around quite a bit and found that this cleansing oil is even cheaper than in online shops :p It's only IDR 114.500 or around $10 if I remembered correctly. I never use cleansing oil before but I read in some blogs that cleansing oil is one of Korean's face cleansing method so I think I'll just give it a try hehe. Also got a sample of TFS cc cream but I forget from where I get it.

Finally bought Etude House Any Cushion like.. months after it's launched XD Like I've said earlier, I was on shopping ban so I decided to used up all of my bb cream first before buying a new one. This is my first cushion-type bb cream and so far I'm quite satisfied with the result. :D
Then I bought the sample kit of Clio lipnicure! It's one of my top wishlist since I've tried it before and the staying power is SO GOOD but I didn't buy it back then since it's expensive.. Then I found this on FB for only $5 - you get 2 colors and a top coat so it's such a good deal XD

Sorry for the blur picture.. =_=
Last, I bought Innisfree jeju volcanic pore clay mask to improve my current skin condition since it has a lot of good reviews and repurchase the cool sugar wax that I've reviewed here

... And that's all! I think I didn't shop too much and manage to buy only things that I either really want or need~ I know this is a lame question but what do you want me to review first? Just write it on comment below and I'll make it for you ASAIC (As soon as I can) LOL

Thanks for reading and see you later~

Review : Simply Stay by Mustika Ratu

So around 2 weeks ago I saw that BBlog_ID is having a new project and this time they're collaborating with Mustika Ratu with their newly launched product line, "Simply Stay". I get the products around 1,5 weeks ago but the college thing-y keep me busy so I just post it now.. like maybe the last one after all the bloggers published it already T_T

To be honest I've never tried any Mustika Ratu's products before as I don't really interested to buy it.. But I bet everyone in Indonesia now this brand already, right? Anyway, this Simply Stay line is using "Soft, Moist, and Long Last" as their tagline campaign and I guess it's they key point of makeup to keep our skin soft, moist, and also last for a long time :D

The sample kit I received contains stick foundation, two way cake, and liquid foundation which all have 4 shades ranging from fair, yellow-ish, and dark. There are also a moisturizer in 2 type, one for normal to oily skin and the other one is for normal to dry skin.

Now let's move on to the swatches, shall we? :D

Without flash
With Flash
The texture of the stick foundation is a little thick, and in my experience I guess you need to warm it up first with your finger so that you can use it easily. The color range is quite wide, so everyone can choose the right shade for their skin tone. You also can use it for contouring if you have all of them :D
The coverage is quite good, it does cover redness and dark spots but you still need to use concealer for a better result~

However, I wouldn't use it as my face routine since it feels a little 'heavy' and I prefer light base makeup so I think I'll just stick with my bb cream :p You can use it for special occasion though, or in times when you need more coverage.

Having 4 shades just like the stick foundation, I think this is the right choice for the lazy day or when you got no time to use makeup. You just need to grab your powder brush or your sponge and dab it all over your face and.. done~ I'm not sure any of this shade match perfectly with my skin tone cause the 2 and 3 are too yellow-ish for me and the 4 one is too dark (guess I can use it for contouring) but the 1 is also slightly too fair :/

The texture is so powdery and fortunately this one doesn't feel heavy at all like the previous stick foundation. The oil control is also quite good on me, but my face is more into dry skin so I can't really say much >,<

See how powdery it is? :D

Out of the 3 (stick, two way cake, and this liquid foundation) actually I'm most excited to try this since it's the closest one to my daily bb cream. Don't really know why though, I always prefer liquid type one (the one I'm currently using is the cushion type, but still that is liquid, right? :p)

The consistency is quite watery and I personally think quite easy to blend. The coverage is low to medium, so if you want a high coverage you this product might not suit you~ At first I think the coverage will be so good since it's foundation after all, but this is just not my favorite. All the shade are either too yellow-ish or too dark for my skin tone so I think I won't use it anymore ;w;

Like I've said before, the moisturizer comes in 2 types, normal to oily skin and normal to dry skin. The texture is quite thick (or creamy, is that even a texture?) and need several seconds to fully absorb. I think it's a great idea to make 2 product for 2 different skin types so people can choose the product that suit them best :D

So I combine the stick foundation and top it with the two way cake and here's the result :

Zoom at it's finest @_@ my skin condition is quite bad lately..
Anyway, you can see that it does helps to cover my dark spots and acne scars but they're still visible so I can say that the coverage is only low to medium. You can use concealer after for better coverage~

Overall, I think this line is quite worth to have for those who are looking for affordable makeup products, for beginners, or if you're a MUA that needs a lot of shade 'cause this line provide 4 shades that I think will cover almost entire Indonesian's skin tone hehe.

Fiuh, don't know if you're still reading it until this point 'cause this post is sure long LOL.
This post is made to join BBlog_ID's event and is sponsored by Mustika Ratu

What do you think about these products? :D
Thanks for reading and I promise I'll post more in September.. said a student whose teachers really do give a lot of assignment *sigh*
